APPEARANCE AND ODOR: Light to dark colored crushed plant fibers of mixed mesh range having moisture content of 15-20%. Grassy/earthy odor.

PRIMARY HAZARD EFFECTS: The primary health hazard posed by this material is thought to be due to inhaling dust. Inhalation of any dust causes coughing, gagging and breathing difficulties, and may aggravate asthma.
